A political activist and a human rights advocate

Garazi Hach Embarek is a Sahrawi-Basque raised in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tinduf (Western Algeria). She says sharing both worlds helped her grow as a political activist. As a renowned advocate in the fight for the freedom of the Sahrawi people, she's a regular voice in congresses, talks and conferences. She has been invited to speak at the European Parliament, the United Nations Human Rights Council and the British Labour Party Assembly, among others.
