A photographer and graphic documentary filmmaker who is specialised in art publications.
Juantxo is a photographer and graphic documentary filmmaker. He specialises in art publications and he has worked with artists, museums and galleries on nearly 400 publications. His images have illustrated the covers of essays and literature books and he has curated photography exhibitions in spaces such as the Sala Kubo, San Telmo Museum, Photomuseum of Zarautz or the Historical Artxibo of Euskadi among others. He collaborates with different institutions in these projects as a researcher and specialist in the history of photography in the Basque Country. He has also worked for the San Sebastian Film Festival in ten editions and works regularly with the the Aranzadi Science Society. He took the photographs of the hand of Irulegi that have gone around the world.
